Valentines Day

Ok, ok I know what you are thinking...

"Valentines Day was over a month ago!"

So what, better late than never right?

So the Friday of Valentines Day weekend David had to take a test late at night and I had tickets to go with Abby and some of her friends to the Young Ambassadors show(great show!) David asked to stay at my place to study while we were gone...his place smells like dog pee, but that is another story. Not thinking anything of it, I said sure, but you have to get an A or don't come home(just kidding I didn't say that).
After the show Abby and I walk in the front door to find David just hanging out at our place. He said his test went well and he had just gotten back. We talked a while upstairs and turned on the opening ceremonies of the Olympics(yes it was that long ago). After a while I went downstairs and found a red heart cut out from construction paper on the floor outside the door to my room. It read...

"Happy Valentines Day!
If you're lucky there is a present hidden in here."

Attached to the card were ear plugs and a needle.

I opened my door to find this... My room was filled with balloons!
I'm thinking he wanted to fill my room with balloons to disguise the mess that I have been accumulating all semester.

Luckily I didn't have to pop all the balloons at that moment to find my gift. David melted down the leftover silver from the quarter ring he made me for Christmas into a pendant to make a necklace. Very very clever David.
Over 200 balloons were popped the next day-the earplugs and needle went into good use.

Major Update...

So to make up for my slacking the last four month I thought I'd give a breakdown of what happened via pictures. So it will be very colorful and possibly very long.
Waited in the pouring down rain to sit in on conference. Cooled off by the Monte Carlo fountains. Sampled Cokes from around the world. Had some of the greatest yogurt ever in Vegas. Halloween Deal or No Deal. Became large with child. Just kidding. I was forced into playing Mary in the annual Harmer nativity. David begged to be Joseph. Saw freshmen friend who abandoned Utah for Idaho Crystal. My freshmen roommate Alison got married to freshmen friend Mark. Saw some interesting things when I went to New Jersey for Christmas.
Celebrated my 22 birthday in NYC

Alright...there it is.

So, see you in another four months?

WOD...

You may call me lazy, or call me boring, or say I'm not entertaining you for keeping my blog updated. Well to you I say, I am sorry. Who checks my blog on the morning of their wedding day anyway?!?!?! I mean honestly!!

I give you my promise that I will do better about feeding you new information, and making you laugh just as hard (or whatever emotions I may bring out of you).

As for now...go buy your tickets for this little show...

I mean, only if you want to see the coolest girl do some wicked tap moves to some pretty sweet Buble music.
or if you want me to speak to you again...
yes, that was a threat
