Hello Boys...

For the first time (that I can remember at least) I have made, and completed, a summer reading list.

Lucky for me, being the lonely girl that I am, all of the books have included a leading man that has left me breathless and swooning.

My two personal favorites just happen to have been made into feature films so I can drool all over these boys not only on paper, but over popcorn...

No, I did not cheat and read the abridged version. I, yes I, read all 862 pages (with print the size of your a pin head) worth of "I'll think of that tomorrow" drama.

Not only does Mr. Rhett Butler steal my heart in the book, but Clark Gable was made for the role. I mean just look at him...

...well dressed, well mannered, well off, great father (I could do without the stash). Yes, please.

Secondly,

yes, I gave in. I would like to take this time and apologize to anyone I offended and teased for reading this book. I am hooked. Edward, despite his unhumanly characteristics and too-good-to-be-true manners for a high school aged boy, I would be a vampire any day for him.

Thank goodness to the casting directors of the recent film for giving small part Harry Potter character Cedric Diggory the lead this time. Whenever Mr. Diggory made an entrance, I admit, I squealed like a little girl (in my head).

So I'm throwing out a challenge to writers everywhere to make a character that combines Mr. Butler and Edward into a fabulous novel/movie that I will be the lead actress. I already figured out the hardest part, the title. It will be called...The Life of Jamie Ward.

Hey, a girl can dream...
